Guido is almost eccentric, despite his young age. Or perhaps he is just immature…I think of him as the Mr Bean of the Alpaca World.
His expressions are candid.
He wears his personality out loud.
He is the most uncoordinated Alpaca I know. In truth, I only know three well, but still….he runs sideways, like he is drunk, but still manages to make ground in the desired direction.
He sneezes like a human in his sixties – loud with spray!
Every morning Guido gets so excited to be let out for a roam, he almost forgets to go through the gate to Freedom!
He must pee in EXACTLY the same spot every time but I wish he would leave my garden be….
He watches me in his peripheral vision. He assumes wrongly that I can’t see him watching.
He is hyper-alert. If something untoward is going to happen, he’ll be ready for it. Unless he is grazing. Food preoccupies and distracts him.
Lets hope the foxes don’t advance on the Free Range chooks at meal time….but what are the chances of that?? Do foxes and alpacas eat at six, twelve and six – the same as humans?? UH! OH!
He makes me giggle. We adore his unique character, quirks and all.
